Devotees from India and abroad will reach Sirgobardhanpur to attend Ravidas Jayanti, booking of hotels started in Varanasi

Lakhs of devotees from India and abroad will reach Seer Gobardhanpur in Varanasi to participate in Sant Ravidas Jayanti on February 5. Dozens of pandals are being constructed in the Mela area for the stay of Sangat coming to attend the Jubilee. Hundreds of people living in India and abroad including Punjab, Haryana and Mumbai have made their online bookings at various hotels in the city. While some people have got their booking done through the temple trust in the guest house of the guest temple. They are taking their land and rooms on rent to set up shop and live in the houses adjacent to the temple.

The lesson of Amritwadi will start from 20th January. The first batch of sevadars will start from Jalandhar on Wednesday and reach Sir Gobardhanpur on Thursday. The servicemen will be in the number of 125 in the first batch. Boundary wall construction work is going on around the satsang hall which was inaugurated by the Prime Minister. The sevadars from Punjab are busy cleaning the temple. The pandal is in the final stages of construction.

Sant Niranjan Das will reach on February 3 with Sangat by special train to join the Jayanti. Saint Niranjan Das will visit the pandal and fair area on February 4 and give darshan to the followers. Five generators of 125 KV will be installed to supply electricity in the fair area. CCTV cameras will be installed from the temple to the fair and the pandal area.
