In Lucknow’s Vibhutikhand Kotwali, the restaurant operator has filed a case against three people, including the former RTO and his son, for demanding extortion of Rs 2.5 crore. Which is being investigated by the police.
According to Inspector Ram Singh, Manish Gupta had bought the property from Ram Prakash Mishra. In which he has been running the restaurant for three years. Registry has been done on 27 December 2022 on the basis of asking price. Even after this, the accused are continuously threatening. The accused have demanded Rs 2.5 crore more. Manish has been threatened for not giving them. Attempts have also been made to put pressure on many people. According to the victim, along with Ram Prakash, Ram Manohar and his father retired RTO Dharamdev are also involved in this. According to the Inspector, Ram Prakash alias Rinku has gone to jail for murder and dacoity in Dehradun.
