The controversy over the incident of burning copies of Ramcharitmanas is not taking the name of calm. A complaint has now been lodged against Swami Prasad Maurya in Delhi’s Paschim Vihar police station regarding this matter. The complaint was lodged by Pankaj Nanda, president of Mahadev Sena, but the Delhi Police has referred the matter to the concerned district administration of UP. Nanda, who gave a complaint to the Delhi Police, says that Swami Prasad Maurya insulted Ramcharit Manas, for which action should be taken against him. Recently a complaint was lodged in Madhya Pradesh as well.
According to the information shared by the Delhi Police, the said complaint has been lodged against Swami Prasad Maurya at Paschim Vihar police station in Delhi. Pankaj Nanda, president of Mahadev Sena, alleged in the complaint that Ramcharitmanas was insulted due to the statement of Swami Prasad Maurya. In the past, the incident of burning copies of Ramcharitmanas came to light in Lucknow, the capital of UP. After this FIR was registered against many people. So far many complaints have been filed against SP leader Swami Prasad Maurya regarding this incident.
However, Swami Prasad Maurya says that not a single copy of Ramcharitmanas has been burnt anywhere. The video that has surfaced of burning a copy of Ramcharitmanas was actually the slogans written on the placards. He accused the events of being distorted. Although he had also said that the government should exclude the objectionable parts from Ramcharitmanas. This book should be banned. He had said- I have been continuously opposing hypocrisy in the guise of religion.
Meanwhile, Swami Prasad Maurya has given his strong reaction to Mohan Bhagwat’s statement in which the Sangh chief had said that God has always said that for me all are one, but pundits made a category, which was wrong. On this statement, Swami Prasad Maurya tweeted and said- By saying that the caste-system was created by the Pandits (Brahmins), RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat, under the guise of religion, abused the women, tribals, Dalits and the backward, the contractors and hypocrites of the so-called religion. At least now come forward to remove the objectionable comment from Ramcharitmanas.
