Cattle falling prey to mismanagement in Kanpur Dehat

Raniya, (Kanpur Dehat). In Kisharwal village of Raniyan Nagar Panchayat area, the cattle kept in a boundary plot by the villagers are falling prey to bad arrangements. Dry straw is being given once in 24 hours. Due to this, he is continuously getting weak. One bovine died here on Saturday, while the condition of two others is critical. Anna cattle roaming freely in more than 2 dozen villages of Raniya Nagar Panchayat area have become a cause of trouble for the farmers. About 300 cattle are locked at different places. While hundreds of stray animals are still roaming freely which are continuously destroying the crops of the farmers. On the other hand, in Kisharwal village, about 160 cattle are closed for four days on Raniyan Maitha Marg. While about 150 cattle herders have been closed on Chitikpur road as well. The villagers told that they are being given dry straw once in 24 hours by the Nagar Panchayat, due to which they are continuously getting weak. While there is neither a bonfire nor shade in the cold winter nights. Due to this their condition is getting worse.

A cow dynasty locked in Kisharwal village died on Saturday. While the condition of two others is also critical. On the other hand, the people of Sherpur village cut the straw and fed it to the cattle on the Chitikpur road. Whereas dry straw was given by the Nagar Panchayat.
