Cashless facility will be provided in 80 hospitals of UP. The situation has been cleared regarding the implementation of Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay State Employees Cashless Medical Scheme in the district. UP government employees, pensioners and their dependent family members will get cashless treatment in 80 hospitals in Moradabad.
In this regard, quoting the guidelines issued by the government, Dr. Sunil Dohra, Additional Chief Medical Officer and nodal officer of the scheme, said that under the Pradhan Mantri Janarogya Ayushman Yojana, Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay state employees in all the seventy private and ten government hospitals named in Moradabad. Under the cashless medical scheme, all eligible beneficiaries will get the facility of cashless treatment.
District Coordinator of Ayushman Yojana Dr. Pitambar Singh said that the beneficiaries of Deendayal Upadhyaya Cashless Scheme will get cashless treatment on showing their card in the hospital just like the beneficiaries of Ayushman Yojana. Officials said that action will be taken against the concerned hospital as per the rules if there is a complaint of inattention in providing treatment facilities to the eligible beneficiaries.
Beneficiaries will have to pay fees in OPD
The beneficiaries of the cashless scheme will have to pay the fees payable in case of treatment in the OPD of the respective private hospitals. The facility of cash treatment will be available in IPD i.e. for hospitalization treatment. Health department officials said that the situation has been cleared in this regard.
