Bracewell made this big record
Bracewell has done a great job by thrashing the Indian bowlers. He also became the first player to score two centuries at number 7 or lower while chasing a target in ODI cricket. He had scored an unbeaten 127 against Ireland in the year 2022 before the Indian team. Apart from this, Bracewell has also joined the list of players who have scored the fastest century in ODIs for New Zealand. He completed the century in 57 balls. He has become the third Kiwi cricketer to score the fastest century. Corey Anderson (37-ball century) and Jesse Rytder (46-ball century) are ahead of him.
said this after stormy innings
Bracewell shared a 162-run partnership for the seventh wicket with Mitchell Santner (57 off 45 balls). For a time it seemed that both would return after winning New Zealand. Bracewell said after the stormy innings that the runs did not come as expected in the end, which made it difficult. He said that we were just trying to give ourselves a chance. Unfortunately we missed out in the end. Santner and I shared a good partnership and tried to take the game till the end. However, there were plenty of runs left in the end. He bowled really well in the late stages. 20 runs were needed in the last over and today was not my day. These are early days of my international career and I don’t even have much footage of these bowlers.
