Big relief for the farmers of UP, Yogi’s minister told what will be the benefit

Energy Minister Arvind Kumar Sharma said on Monday that the connection of tubewells of farmers will not be cut due to arrears. If any employee or officer is found doing this, action will be taken against him. They must get the benefit of the subsidy payable to the farmers on the use of electricity in agriculture. He said these things in the chaupal organized at Jattari Dehat Bijlee Ghar of Division Khair.

The Energy Minister said that the government takes decisions keeping in view the interests of the farmers. This decision has also been taken in the interest of the farmers. OTS scheme will also be brought soon. This is also under consideration. A one-time settlement plan will be implemented in the coming months. In which 100 percent head charge will be waived. The direct and maximum benefit of this will be to the tube well farmers who have arrears of crores of rupees.

In Chaupal, a person from Khandeha village said that five transformers were stolen from the village. All these transformers belonged to tubewells. Full information about this was given from JE to XEN office and police, but no action was taken. A transformer has been installed after two and a half months. Still don’t know when the four transformers will be found. On this, MD of Discom Amit Kishore noted the problem of the villagers and directed the Chief Engineer and Superintending Engineer to solve it soon.

Rs 170 crore is owed to tubel farmers

There are about 43,000 tubes in both the circles of the Distribution Corporation. About one billion 70 crore (170 crore) rupees are owed to the farmers’ department on these tube well connections. Circle II has about 25,000 tubewell connection holders. About 100 crore i.e. one billion rupees electricity bill is outstanding on them. There are 18,000 tube well connections on Circle I. About 70 crore rupees are outstanding on them.

Appreciation of officers in inspection of Jattari Sub Division

Aligarh. In the inspection of Energy Minister, the maximum emphasis was on KYC. There are about 35 thousand consumers in Jattari Sub Division. Out of which KYC of 30 thousand consumers has been done. That is, mobile numbers have been fed from the connections of all these consumers. KYC of remaining 5000 consumers is in progress. On this, the Energy Minister praised the officers.

Jattari. Energy Minister AK Sharma, who came to inspect Jattari power house, was welcomed by BJP leaders, MD, SE by presenting bouquets. BJP leader Hemant Sharma garlanded. He listened to the problems related to electricity of the people and assured a solution. He emphasized on KYC mainly to simplify electricity services under Electricity Consumer Identification and Solution Fortnight. It is said that information about schemes, payments, disconnection etc. of this department will be available on mobile.

Former Chairman Chaudhary Manveer Singh stopped the Energy Minister from Chaupal at the Nagar Panchayat office and got him inspected. Not only this, demanded the appointment of EO. MD Amit Kishore, SDM Khair Sanjeev Ojha, Chief Engineer Ved Prakash, Virendra, Titu Paliwal, Omprakash Singh, Vinod Saraswat, Akash Chaudhary, Krishnapal Singh, XEN Sethpal, SDO Praveen Kumar, JE Avnish Kumar etc were present on this occasion.
