Big Accident in Deoria: A major accident took place in UP’s Deoria on Friday morning. A speeding trailer has run over three people. In this accident, two died on the spot while one died in the hospital. The driver driving the trailer was also injured in the incident. He is undergoing treatment at the district hospital. The accident took place near Baraon crossing on Rudrapur-Barhaj road. Many officers including SP, SDM and CO have reached the spot. In view of the anger of the people, the police force of four police stations has been deployed on the spot.
A trailer laden with stone boulders was going towards Rudrapur from Barhaj at around 7:30 am on Friday morning. A suddenly uncontrollable trailer hit Paras Pandey (age 50 years), a resident of Bahsuan, who was going on a bicycle near Barao intersection. After this, the trailer moved forward with a high speed and crushed Sunil (aged 45 years) resident of Samogar and Gauri (aged 65 years) resident of Bahshua, who were heating bonfire near the brewery. In the end, the trailer collided with the house of Ashok Madhesia. Hearing the loud sound of the trailer hitting the house, the people around ran towards the spot. According to eyewitnesses, the trailer hit so fast that the whole house shook with a loud sound. During this, the people who were heating the bonfire saved their lives by running away. In the accident, Sunil and Gauri died on the spot while Paras Pandey died in the district hospital. The trailer driver injured in the incident is undergoing treatment at the district hospital.
As soon as the information about the incident was received, Barhaj’s SDM Gajendra Singh CO Pancham Lal SHO Mukesh Mishra besides a large number of police reached the spot. The policemen tried to remove the trailer but failed. After this, an attempt was made to remove the trailer by calling JCB. But did not get success. During this, a large number of people gathered at the spot.
SDM Gajendra Singh told that a crane is being called to remove the trailer. The driver of the trailer has absconded after the incident. Rudrapur and Barhaj police have also been deployed on the spot. As soon as the information about the accident was received, SP Sankalp Sharma also reached the spot after some time. Officials are engaged in relief and rescue operations.
