Kiran (26), the newly married woman who lost her life in Gayatri Nagar, belongs to Sirsi in Sambhal. She was the fourth of five siblings. Brother Kanchan told that his aunt Bhagwati lives in Shivaji Nagar of Majhola. It was he who mediated the marriage. Kiran had gone to her maternal home 15 days ago. Mother Maya had brought him here on Friday itself.
The couple had returned after lighting a lamp in the temple a few hours before the death. The people of the locality and the relatives told that the new couple had gone to the Mata Mandir together at around seven in the evening. There both the lamps were lit together. After this what happened between the two that this incident took place is not clear.
SSP also inspected the spot

The dead bodies were taken out by breaking the door

Then they found Kiran lying dead on the bed while Ravi was hanging from the ceiling fan with the help of a scarf. With the help of the people of the locality, the family members took Ravi out of the trap and took him to a private doctor. Where the doctor declared him dead. After investigation by the forensic team, the police took the body into custody and sent it for postmortem.
Kiran’s brother accuses brother-in-law of murder
According to Kiran’s brother, Ravi’s younger brother is a drug addict. It was alleged that Ravi’s brother had committed the murder. Kanchan’s mother also used to make the same claim. In view of the family’s claim, the police have also taken Kiran’s brother-in-law into custody for questioning.
