In this episode, on Tuesday, February 7, the ICC announced the nominations for the Player of the Month for January 2023. Like every time, the ICC has selected 3-3 female and male players, who performed well last month.
Talking about women’s international cricket first, the ICC has selected two Australia and one England player as Player of the Month nominations. Australia’s Phoebe Pitchfield and Beth Mooney have got a place, while England’s Grace Scrivens has been included in it. All these three players have worked to spread the fire in women’s cricket in the month of January.
On the other hand, talking about Men’s International Cricket, one New Zealander and two Indian players have got a place in it. New Zealand’s Devon Conway and India’s opener Shubman Gill and fast bowler Mohammad Siraj have been selected. All these three players have given strong performance in men’s international cricket. Shubman Gill scored a total of 360 runs in the same series by scoring a double century and a century.

Conway is a player of all three formats for New Zealand and he also scored the first century of the year. He has received this award in June 2021 also. Apart from this, talking about Mohammad Siraj, he has given strong performance in international cricket. Siraj has taken a total of 14 wickets in 5 ODIs.
