India’s Amit Kumar finished second in the 10,000m race walk at the World Athletics U20 Championships at Kasarani Stadium in Nairobi, Kenya on Saturday with a time of 42 minutes 17:94 seconds.
Amit’s silver was India’s second medal in the event. On Wednesday, the Indian mixed relay team won a bronze medal on the first day.
Host Harrison Vanioni won the rare gold in a time of 42: 10.84 seconds and Paul McGrath won the home bronze in 42: 31.11 seconds.
