Two cars collided head-on amid dense fog in UP’s Lakhimpur Kheri. A woman was killed in the accident, while three people, including the SO of Sampurnanand police station, were injured. The injured are being treated at the Community Health Center (CHC) at Palia.
The accident took place in Majhgain area of Palia Kotwali area of Lakhimpur. SHO of Sampoorna Nagar Hanumant Lal Tiwari was going towards Lakhimpur in his private eco sports car for some work. The Alto car coming from the other side hit his car hard near Baghiya Tirahe.
In the accident, the woman Sukhjit Kaur, who was traveling in the Alto car, died on the spot, while both her daughters Sandeep Kaur and Mannat Kaur were badly injured. SO Sampurna Nagar Hanumant Lal Tiwari has also suffered serious injuries in the accident. He has also been admitted to Palia CSC. SP Ganesh Prasad Saha talked to the doctors and inquired about the people injured in the accident. He has ordered to make proper arrangements for the treatment of the injured.
