In Agra district, 26 thousand farmers who are beneficiaries of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi have not got EKYC done. Farmers are constantly being made aware by the Agriculture Department to provide them the benefits of the Kisan Samman Nidhi. Camps have also been organized at block level for EKYC of farmers.
District Agriculture Officer Sumit Chauhan said that two lakh farmers in the district are beneficiary farmers of PM Kisan Samman Nidhi. Who are being given the benefit of this scheme. Farmers are constantly being asked to get EKYC done through public service centers. Camps have been organized by the Agriculture Department at seed stores in all the seven blocks of the district. So that farmers are not deprived of taking advantage of this scheme and their installments can reach their accounts.
EKYC of about 24 thousand farmers is yet to be done in the district. In the coming days also camps will be organized by the department for eKYC. Farmers can also get eKYC done by visiting the Jan Seva Kendra.
