In Etawah, there has been an incident of rape inside a train with a Class 10 student. The girl student of Jhansi wanted to park her scooty at the station and go to Mahoba. Accidentally boarded the train going to Etawah. Meanwhile, the sweeper of the railway talked to him on the pretext of helping. He also talked to his mother through his phone. Then raped. GRP has arrested the accused.
Annoyed by the scolding of the family members, the Class 10 student of Jhansi had left the house on a scooty on January 15 to go to her grandfather’s house in Mahoba. After parking the scooty at Jhansi Junction, she mistakenly boarded the Jhansi-Etawah Intercity Express going to Etawah instead of Mahoba. When the train stopped at Etawah Junction, Raj Kapoor Yadav, a cleaning worker of the Railway’s Carriage and Wagon Department, caught sight of it.
When Raj Kapoor, a resident of Jalesar of Samaspur police station of Etah reached her, the girl sought his help. He talked to the girl’s mother through his mobile. Mother said to come to pick it up. After the help, the girl came under his trust. Taking advantage of this, he coaxed the girl and took her to another train and raped her.
The next day, on January 16, the family members reached Etawah in the morning and took the daughter back home. On reaching home, the girl narrated her ordeal to her family members. On this, at 11 am on Tuesday, the family members reached the Etawah GRP police station with the girl and lodged an FIR. SP Railway Agra Mohd. on the information of rape in the train. Mushtaq reached Etawah and set up five teams to arrest the employee. On Tuesday, he arrested the accused and disclosed the incident.
